Not a few brewing books recommend the use of Phosphoric Acid as superior to Lactic Acid in lowering water and mash pH. Yet no supplier that I know of sells the stuff. Anybody out there know where I can get USP grade Phosphoric Acid? William P. Terjesen

My homebrew shop has just started carrying it, but I don’t remember the name of the supplier. (it was a name that I was not familiar with) They sold it in a pint container at a solution level of 10% Phos. Acid. If you want to call the home brew shop I go to let me know and I’ll find the phone number.
