Brewing Master

Question:

I am interested in getting started in brewing my own beer… I’d like to get a kit or such, can someone steer me in the right direction?  Good kit, easy, cheap (!?).. Thanks!!! often.. Mike

I would add a thermometer, too. It’s handy in case you use specialty grains (don’t want to overheat them), and when you rehydrate your yeast–I boil the water first, and don’t want to cook the yeast. To a lesser importance, it’ handy to correct the hydrometer reading.
