Suburu engine

Categories: Home Brew

Question:

I am new to your group so hope this request is not out of line. For a few years I have wanted to build a Mohawk ultra lite. I purchased a Suburu twin carb engine a few years back and have installed a prop reduction cog belt pulley. Looks like I will not be building the plane so need to sell the engine. Any ideas where I could find a buyer would be greatly appreciated. I am located in western Montana. Thank for your help … Mac

Response:

well what do you want for it?

Brrr…. western Montana. I grew up between Kalispell, Sunburst, and Great Falls. I always said it was God’s country… but he don’t spend the winter there. Which reduction unit does it have? Stratus, Ellgenfeller, home-brew? There’s a couple different PSRU’s that have gotten a pretty good reputation. If you give us the brand name and which engine it is (EA81,82?) you will probably find some interest here. If not, try http://groups.yahoo.com/group/airsoob/ Rick – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I am new to your group so hope this request is not out of line.
