Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde
Question:
www.petes.com had some specs, including malts, hops, color, BUs, OG, real strawberries, etc. you could try to figure out a recipie from there. -warren – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – We recently travelled around the world, sampling many beers from many places. A highlight was 6 months in England, where I developed a taste for real ales that are hard to come by in Australia. Time to experiment with the home brew, I got a book over there on Real Ales for the Homebrewer that should prove quite useful. However one beer my wife found and enjoyed was Pete’s Wicked Ales Strawberry Blonde. She first came across it at the Great British Beer Festival which I dragged her along to. I know it’s American, but was commonly available in the shops there, not here unluckily. Does anyone have any recipes for a similar beer suitable for me to try, that don’t involve a full mash. I’m happy with malt extract, specialty grains and so on but haven’t the time, space or money to go to a full mash setup at the moment. Thanks Richard
