micro brewery in Milwaukee?
Question:
I have a homebrewing friend (not on the net) who is planning a trip to Milwaukee this June. Can anyone out there give me the name and address of any good microbreweries in Milwaukee? Thanks, Mike Elmes

Water Street Brewery (a pub), Lakefront, and Sprecher. Of course Miller says that "If you’ve got the time, they’ve got the tour." Never had the time though. Ha Ha! Water street was OK. Lakefront is best at the brewery. Sprecher must be drunk straight out of the vat. After it travels 1 mile to any tap, it is already changing in taste. I personally do not prefer Sprecher, but have been told it is good by other people, so I may just have always had bad bottles. Never went to their tour. Kenosha: Brewmasters Pub and Brewery. 414-694-9050 4017 80th Street Kenosha Lakefront Brewery 414-372-8800 818a East Chambers Street Milwaukee Sprecher Brewing Company 414-964-2739 701 W Glendale Ave. Glendale Water Street is downtown Milwaukee on Water street. Don’t know the number or exact address. Whitewater: Randy’s Fun Hunters 414-473-8000 841 E Milwaukee St Whitewater The ones in Kenosha and whitewater are both about an hour away, but worth the trip. I’m going to randys next month, so I don’t know about the beer yet. Brewmasters is another place I haven’t been to yet. They have a beer festival in June, So I will get there then at least. — Owner / Network Consultant – Perfect Computer Solutions 414-238-9075 Sysop – Home Brew University BBS Brew City Campus 414-238-9074
