CPAP-sotmach bloat & nausia
Question:
Hello, I use CPAP with high pressure, 17cm. I seem to have an experience which is uncomfortable, which I believe is being caused by AIR being forced into my stomach, thus causing a "bloating and gas" build-up. Some times, when waking-up, I can just ‘burp’ part of the bloat away, but some AIR, as it seems, passes into the intestines. This gas then causes the normal discomfort that one would normally experience from that symptom. However, this symptom with a CPAP patient, is a continual issue on a daily basis.. Any one else heard of this or have this problem..?? and any suggested solutions?? I have thought about trying some of the over the counter "anti-gas" medications, like "BENO" or "GAS-X", but have not done so as yet. I really do not want to have to think about eating that stuff for ever…. Please respond to: mazola…@earthlink.net Thanks —
