sugar-free root beer???

Categories: Brewing Supplies

Question:

Is this possible: making root beer, but calculating added sugar (for fermentation and priming) so that it all ferments out; sweetening with aspartame during priming. No anti-diet drink flames, please. — "A jury consists of twelve persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer." –Robert Frost

North Brewing Supplies sells packets of aspartame.  I have tried adding aspartame and enough sugar to prime with different results.  A few batches primed, and a few didn’t.  The ones that don’t I simply force carbonate.  Just be aware that using priming sugar doesn’t always work Warren Place www.humboldt.edu/~wrp2
