Brewing Master

Question:

Just wondering if there is a brewing club in I.C. and environs that I’ve missed out on in the six months I’ve been here…or if there’s anyone interested in starting one. I know someone else besides me must be buying the supplies at the Coralville Liquor Store, and enjoying the many excellent regional and international beers we have available locally…so let me hear from you. — John Pieper

I’m the other guy buying supplies there.  Shame how they do not refrigerate their yeast or hops.  Sure, they’re in a fridge but it’s not turned on.  Internet companies are my preference.  We used to have a good store on the quad cities, attached to Bent River BC but it is no more. Joel already told you about THIRSTY, there’s a club in Quad Cities called mugz, see www.mugz.org. Phil
