Porter colo(u)r
Question:
What about my freakin’ porter? At least Jo3sh was on topic. Mike Bennett: Are you the Usenet police? Show me your badge! Steve Holat – Head Nose-thumber Underhaus Brewery Batavia, IL
Response:
I met a lot of interesting people on the BBS’s I grew up with, and I think the ‘net should be the same.
Speaking of which, just out of curiousity, are you the same Jo3sh who used to post to Fidnet from The Esoteric Opera? (I’ve a number of these posts preserved in the black hole of my harddrive <g.) Regards, Mike anti-spam e-mail, delete the obvious
Response:
You probably forgot, but it is against Internet protocol (RFC 1036, and Son of 1036)
Quick, call the netcops! We can probably get a 1/2 million users (myself included) kicked off so they won’t be cluttering up the infobahn! Regards, Mike anti-spam e-mail, delete the obvious

You’re going to have trouble telling the exact Lovibond, but it may give you the results you need. Good luck. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – What about my freakin’ porter? As a matter of fact, I am. I believe there are no other Jo3sh’s on the net. Sadly, the Opera and all of my other old favorites are long gone… Jo3sh Malt does more than Milton can To justify God’s ways to Man. – A. E. Housman

Jo3sh Malt does more than Milton can To justify God’s ways to Man. – A. E. Housman Jo3sh, You probably forgot, but it is against Internet protocol (RFC 1036, and Son of 1036) to post a message without a valid mailing address of the person who sent the message.
Those protocols simply exist to give ‘Net mailers and clients can send and receive messages. Nothing more, nothing less. It gives the purpose and format Your messages to rec.crafts.brewing do not have a valid mailing address. To make matters worse, there isn’t a valid signature on your posts either. I know you’re probably as tired of SPAM as I am, but that doesn’t give validity to what you’re doing. Spam or no spam, ALL messages must have a valid address. Addresses like
Better watch it, Jo3sh, "they" might take away your cyber-birthday! Big brother is watching! Without a valid address, you make it very hard for a person to reply privately to one of your posts. And besides, continued posting like this can lead to complaints to your ISP, and often times, discontinuation of service.
I thought this was rec.crafts.brewing. Please tell me what this has to do with brewing in any way, shape, or form. If you don’t like it that Jo3sh (or I) doesn’t have a valid email address in his message, don’t send him email! And since when have ISPs cut service for spam-proofing addresses? For the love of God, let’s get back to brewing, Matt
