Conical Update #5

Categories: Brewing Beer

Question:

No Mike, I ask about you to the daughter, but mine is still in the back waiting for the pick up. Earl

Response:

Well George, lets say you’ve inspired me to get one of my own. But I’m going the MiniBrew line. I found one on sale for almost $100.00 off the listed price and told them I’d be in next week to pick it up as my car was full of other supplies at the time. But keep the updates coming Earl

Oh man.  I hope that’s not the one I was going to buy!  Did you buy a kegerator that day? Regards, Mike Sharp

I’ll chime in with an update about my 15 gallon minibrew conical that I got for X-mas.  It rocks!!!  you’ll love it! Rick — If you ever reach total enlightenment while you’re drinking a beer, I bet it makes beer shoot out your nose. – Jack Handy

I love my new toy.

Good job you keep reminding us George coz we’d never have guessed… :) I must say when I check this ng, I really look forward to these updates.  Its nice to have an ongoing tale – the Conical Chronicles. Regards, Dave. Envious.

Well fellow brewers, it’s been a month since my last brewing. This past Sunday I brewed an Old Speckled Hen clone from clonebrews by Mark and Tess. Great easy recipe. My OG was 1.054 and today my SG is 1.009 that equates to 5.63% alcohol by volume. I used a danstar dry manchester ale yeast rather than the wyeast london that the recipe called for. My fermenting temperature was/is 69
