Actually, its freely available in the US. I bought some about a year ago. Was on a Shell Gas Station counter along with cigars run by Cubans when I first came to know of it. Strong ropy taste and somewhat presumptuous. Hempen Ale is brewed by Frederick Brewing in Maryland and their website is www.hempenale.com . Nothing to get high on in the beer plus hemp is the more useful family member among the hemp family to which marijuana belongs. If you go to Amsterdam, there is a hemp museum and you find that its really a very useful plant. They also grow marijuana in the museum! You can partake of it freely in the streets!! Trust Slick to give Hemp Ale a bad name by association.
