Redlegg Ale?

Categories: Brewery

Question:

Any of you Cincinnati folk have this beer? It’s made by the Barrel House brewery. It was on tap at the hotel we stayed at, and it had a very distinct flavor I couldn’t really place. I’ve been dying of curiousity to know exactly what that flavor was…

Response:

When I go to the Barrelhouse, I drink the stout.  I will have to pay better attention to the Redleg next time.  The trouble is that, except for Tuesdays and some Wednesdays, they have obnoxious bands with high cover charges. — Dan Listermann Check out our E-tail site at www.listermann.com Free shipping for orders greater than $35 and East of the Mighty Miss.

Well, just give it a try. :) It was a good if not  incredible beer, but I cannot figure out what that taste is. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – When I go to the Barrelhouse, I drink the stout. Response:

I can tell you that they use Whitelabs English ale yeast.  They used to use Wyeast London ale yeast, but switched a while ago. — Dan Listermann Check out our E-tail site at www.listermann.com Free shipping for orders greater than $35 and East of the Mighty Miss.
