Excellent system and website Is that one of those "weldless" thermometers on the MT, if so..does it work okay? Thanks for the compliment. Yes that is a weldless thermometer in the MT. I use 2 in my system, one in the MT and one in the HLT. They work beautifully. Got them from BB&MB ($86 for 2 I think). No affiliation yada…. I was going to weld 1/2 couplings in the tanks for them, but it was just too easy to do the weldless. It took all of 5 minutes to drill a hole and mount the thermometers. While I don’t think I’d use the weldless drains (IMHO) because hose lines, etc always tug on them. But for thermometers I don’t have a problem with the weldless variety. The nice thing about the ones I got from BB&MB is that if I ever want to change to a welded coupling, just remove the "weldless" fitting and it is a standard 1/2" NPT fitting. I imagine all suppliers of weldless thermometers have roughly the same setup. BTW if you want a real clean hole when you drill stainless, get or find someone that has a UniBit drill. They are pretty expensive to buy ($30 and up), but they work real well.
