Whoa!  I know homebrewers who have indeed dabbled in "malting their own" — but coopering their own barrels?  My hat’s off to you, boss; you are truly a homebrewing fanatic’s fanatic.  :-) Dr H

Response:

Seriously,     Contact Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA or Contact Williamsburg Tourism desk in Williamsburg, VA. Both of these places have people on site making this kind of stuff, and they might take on an apprentice. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – <laughing I know, I know…tell you what, if I figure it out I’ll send you the plans. <smile }Hello, } I am looking for any help with learning how to make wooden kegs to age }my beer, also methods for making/extracting my own barley malts.
