Building an all grain system
Question:
Greetings, I am building an all grain system with three used beer kegs. If anyone has a line on where I might purchase reasonably priced stainless steel fittings I would be eternally grateful. Either on the web or in Tucson, AZ would be great. I need couplings, tees, nipples, ball valves etc., I thought I had read a post where someone mentioned $15 SS 1/2" ball valves, but I was unable to recall who or when it was posted. Thanks, Jeff

Hemple Pipe & Supply has the cheapest stainless I have found. Located in Davenport, IA. I paid $13.48 for a full port 1/2" stainless ball valve. The shipping may kill you though. www.usapipe.com Steve Haun Sioux Falls, SD

Hey Jeff, Look around locally, the yellow pages, look for a pipe or plumbing merchant. You will save on shipping. I bought some 1/2" full port stainless ball valves locally in Salt Lake for $12 a peice. Bryan

Try www.morebeer.com They’ve got tons of SS fittings (weld and weldless).

www.movingbrews.com The fittings are high quality forged (not cast) stainless and they have stainless unions with threads on both sides which is convenient for putting a drop tube on the inside. I ordered my first fittings from Ace Stainless in the LA area, but the shipping was as much as the fittings. I plan to redo some of my brewery with double sided fittings from Moving Brews.
