You don’t want to waste water while flushing those dishes! (More tips for the American in Oz.) - Vegemite tastes much nicer mixed with honey. Less aftertaste on the ol’ brewery sludge that way, and you still get the essential vitamins and minerals. (-paneon)

Most larger shopping centres in Australia seem to have a little shop somewhere with a little old gnome that cuts keys and does shoe-repairs. These shops all look the same, and are staffed by semi-identical gnomes, but for the life of me I can’t remember what they’re called. (-paneon)
