10 gal fermenters
Question:
Anyone know of a supplier of 10 gal plastic conical fermenters?
Response:
Try a copy of Brewing Techniques. There is a vendor that very routinely advertises these things, unfortunately I don’t have a copy of the magazine handy. Good luck, Dan Cole – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Anyone know of a supplier of 10 gal plastic conical fermenters?

U.S. Plastic has a 15 Gallon HDPE plastic tank for $80. It has a 60 degree cone on the bottom and a 2" FPT drain hole. You could probably use an adaptor or two and put a 1/2" or 3/4" ball valve on it. Shawn

Hi Geoff, Hobby Beverage Equipment Co. sells a plastic conical fermentor for 10 gal batches. You can see them at www.minibrew.com. No affiliation etc., etc, – as a matter of fact I purchased one for 5 gallon batches and have the first batch fermenting away as I type. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Anyone know of a supplier of 10 gal plastic conical fermenters?

The URL for U.S. Plastics cylindroconical tanks is: http://www.usplastic.com/products/trcd/ethtanks/153070.htm Can’t tell from the picture how the lid secures; funny that the stands are more expensive than the tanks. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Anyone know of a supplier of 10 gal plastic conical fermenters? Danger! I just talked to a friend of mine who works for a brewery about these U.S. Plastic vessels. They are used where he works to store boiler chemicals. They are NOT suitable as a fermentation vessel as they have a very rough and bumpy interior. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Anyone know of a supplier of 10 gal plastic conical fermenters?
