Yes. It is legal to brew in North Carolina. In fact, we have a number of excellent homebrew stores in the state. If you’re moving to the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area (along with half the known world — thank you Money Magazine, now go away <g – but only slightly) you’re in for a treat. American Brewmasters is just off Rt. 1 (Capitol Blvd.) and is the best I’ve seen. Knowedgible and friendly staff, good steady source of qualtiy supplies and a good listing of seminary/classes offered as well.
