Anyone want any alt.outdoor calendars and stuff?
Question:
I was thinking of putting out a series of alternative outdoor sports calendars next year. I’d just print em up at home. But I’ve had some of the best photogs show me their ‘culls’ over the years and I think I have some fine arrays of weirdo outdoor photography. Some of the famous photogs wish they could sell their fave shots rather than just the slick stuff. I’d wanted to do a line of ‘real pro’ calendars like this but it’s a no-hoper. I’m thinking of just asking these photogs if I could just do a homebrew line-up. I’d do XC ski, cycling, gen’l outdoor and classic outdoors. Any interest? Also, I was thinking of doing some crazed tshirts and bumperstickers. Sticker: "No Trespassing: New State Flag!" Tshirt: reprint the classic photo of Freddie Maertens’ victory salute on the podium after winning the 1970 (approx) World Road Race. It’s a great gesture of beau geste triumph.
